I just installed enpoint protection and it appears to all be working fine except that it won't scan! When I try I get the message "Symantic AntiVirus has stopped working" Windows is checking for a solution to the problem. Is this a computer setting issue? It says computer protected and no problems detected.

I am running windows 7 and Symantec endpoint protection, it runs great on my 2 other computers

Thanks, Joe

PS I do not see my product in the dropdown that I am required to do to post so I am just putting "Alturis Deployment Solution"

Map the root ( c ) of this

Map the root ( c ) of this computer to a other working computer with up-to-date definitions and run a full scan.
After that Un-install AV from this machine delete all the symantec folders then re-install it.
