This issue has been solved. See solution.

Has anyone experienced issues with the way the Helpdesk Worker Console appears in Internet Explorer after installing FireFox? The worker experiencing this issue has uninstalled FireFox and we installed then uninstalled IE 8 and saw no difference. I had him delete all the related Altiris ActiveX controls and still the same issue. The fly-out menu no longer is a fly-out and everything is now in a different font than the default. It's only happening on his workstation. If he brings up the Worker Console from any other machine it looks normal.

This is how the Worker Console looks in both IE 7 and IE 8:

I had an issue much like

I had an issue much like this.  It was a setting within the user's worker account.  You can confirm this by having him log into another workstation.

By generating a new worker account and point him to use it I was able to fix the issue.

I thought that was it too

I thought that was it too because I know there is some info kept in the db for each worker but it does look fine on other workstations or servers he remotes into. It only happens on his local workstation he primarily uses. Thanks though for the reply.

Found it!

The worker having the issue discovered the "Microsoft Office Live Add-in 1.3" was causing this. Once he removed it from Add/Remove Programs, the console was back to normal.

Thanks
