    What is the POINT FIX ROLLUP?? is like ServicePack but  you have to ask the Altiris support, not available for all?I do not understand this, someone can clarify this information? because there are notes (TECH) are not enabled for all users?

    From a Symnatec employee (for SMP hotfixes):

    "Rollups are basically a collection of Pointfixes. And Pontfix is a code change created to resolve particular issues of particular solution.

    Latest rollup v4 contains all previous rollups (1, 2, 3).

    But! (there is always but, isnt`it?) 

    Rollups don`t go through full suite testing as Service Packs do. Only solution based testing performed."

    Ok, but then I need to contact Altiris support to download and run the rollup otherwise I can not access the rollup.

    While I bought Altiris licenses, I have to pay a separate support access to download these rollup then?

    I think you need to have a support contract to get the hotfixes. But if you complain to your sales rep about "defective product" you should be able to get somewhere. Do you need the hotfixes? I'm looking after a system at the moment where I'm not going to risk it's stability for the odd fix or two that I'd like to have.
