workflow 7.5 debugger - not all data available

When debugging in workflow 7.5 (specifically debugging a servicedesk 7.5 component in this case), i'm unable to view the data resulting from the get incident data component.  the error is attached but the text reads 

"This data is not available because we are in design mode (debugger)"

is there an option to enable reading this data during debugging in 7.5?  what is the reason for this new feature?

Did you add or change anything on the Storage Preferences tab of the project? Can you take a screenshot of each type listed here (like my screenshot)?

Also, under project properties what are the values for 'ExternalStorageExchangeName' and 'DebugExternalStorageExchangeName'.
