Workflow and Excel .xslx files

Trying parse an .xmlx file, and the read excel file will not recognize that fomat.
Does anyone know if WF can read and parse an XSLX file? It work finw with standard .xls files.

I am using the Excel Generator in an integration component. I'm tyring to import an excel 2010 file in .xslx format and it bombs out on me. It works for a standard .xls file.
I am needing to process multiple lines in an excel file. We have a file template we expect users to rill out, and I need to read that data. There may be 1 line or 200 lines - we just don't know. The standard office Read Excel components just can't do that.

I don't think the Excel generator can handle .xlsx files just yet. We have an open bug/enhancement for it: 2612738Make Excel generator work with .xlsx files
