Possibly IIS or .NET related?

Shot in the dark...but did you add IIS, and is ASP.NET enabled in IIS configuration?

Thanks,

I am running Designer on Windows 7 64 bit

And it works great. One thing I've noticed tho is that you need to have IIS installed, AND you need to enable the II6 Web Management tools. Without these, I could not get the Desinger to install since the installer could not locate IIS!

Install problems on Windows 7 x64

I am having similar issues with Windows 7 x64. I do have IIS installed with IIS6 tools. I get to the step of Checking Server Extensions service and it hangs.  Any suggestions?

yeah, mine is stuck there

Yeah, mine is stuck there too. I opened a support ticket and haven't recieved a fix yet other than to reinstall IIS and .net 3.5 (not sp1 as they said that won't work). I will let you know if I get it working.

Open Services and Start the

Open Services and Start the Logicbase 2006 Server Extenstions. For whatever reason the System is unable to start that service during isntallation. What I had 2 of my staff do was to have the services MMC open and when the Checking message comes up, start the service.

I have SP1 installed, and it's working just fine.

Hi, got round it by running

Hi, got round it by running the installer and then finding where the files where extracted to, copying them else where and canceling the installer from the workflow 7 installer, then ran the designer.exe (name not sure) from that location and it installed fine.

hope this helps
