Workflow to email file attachment does not get new copy of file

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have a monitoring workflow setup that I thought was supposed to get a file off of a network drive and email it nightly.  But, it continually sends the first file that it was tried on not the updated version of that file.  What is going on?  Any help would be appreciated.

Does the project contain any Workflow components that would make it stop and persist the data or does it just run to completion each time? It might help to see a screenshot of the model.

No, it just runs to completion each time.  I think it might have something to do with trying to do it all in the email componet.  Especially the File Attachment size.

Judging by the screenshot you have a 'constant' for the file. Basically, it will be whatever you chose at design time all the time. You need to add a read file component before. This will create a file data type that can we used as the attachment.

I think I have figured it out.  I added a read file componet and configured it to use file:\\servernam\share\filename.csv and sure enough I got an updated version.
