Workflow Manager unable to connect to NS 7.0

    I encountered this error:

    "Login failed. Make sure your repository user name and password are correct".

     

    In SD 7.1, I have checked that the account credential information is provided correctly in the "Credential Manager". There is even a green tick that indicates validity of the account. The NS is running on version 7.0.

    Can anyone from Symantec Technical Support advise on the workaround to resolve this issue?

    In my view, it does not make sense that a later version of ServiceDesk (SD 7.1) cannot support or connect to NS 7.0 when the credential manager indicates that the validity of the account is good and properly connected. If the SMP and ServiceDesk are moving into the direction of 64 bit, are the 32 bit component that uses to exist in NS 7.0 compability? It is pain when the requirement specification for the products does not contains information whether there is service packs with the specified Windows OS. Till now, there is no official compability list for ServiceDesk 7.1 to NS 7.0 or the other way: NS 7.1 to ServiceDesk 7.0. This causes the difficult moment for the implementer or purchaser of this product to assess the pro and con to determine whether it is suitable for the clients' environment and development?

    Symantec, your advice will be appreciated. Please advise on the above situation with supporting document.
