  • 1.  Workflow - Searching a solution to select a folder without typing the whole path

    Hi folks,

    First of all I'm new here and don't have much experience with Symantec Wokflow. My English isn't perfect so excuse me.


    I want to create a web form, where a user can browse and select a folder.
    It should look like the "InputFile" component but the user should be able to select a folder and click OK.

    A workaround would be to create an input field where the user can copy the folder path. If there is no solution for this I have to use the workaround solution.

    Do you want the form to select all of the folders files as well?

    One other thing to consider.  You will not be able to browse a file system outside of the server, unless you can some how pass it a network path variable.  That make it a little more difficult

    Thank you for your reply.


    No I only want to select a folder.
    The User should be able to create a new folder under the entered path.

    My workaround is to enter the path manually. for example X:\Corporate\HR\
