Good morning everyone.  I was wondering if anyone has been able to successuflly use the following template in Workflow 7.5

This is a great 4 part video series and would work perfectly as a starter to one of our projects, however I have followed the examples twice and it doesnt work as designed.  I was wondering if this worked in previous versions but something in 7.5 is causing the issue.

Any help or insight would be appreaciated.

I have used the same template in WF 7.5 quite a few times and it doesn't cause any issue, could you please let us know, what's the error message you are getting or were exactly it's failing. Kindly mention the steps to reproduce the issue and attached screenshots and supporting logs as evidence.

I click on continue and the next page looks fine:

After submiting, instead of the Thank you screen as well as the Process ID number I get this screen:

If I log into ServiceDesk there is a Ticket generated but it has and Exception error as well as missing controls to work the ticket:

From the logs it seems that there is an authentication issue. Have you remove any of the process manager login component. Specifically from the Approval model in the Dialog workflow component.

I also so the error.  The workflow is the template directly from the site and I watched and reproduced from the 4 part video exactly.  Not sure why the login failed for user shows up as im currently logged into the ServiceDesk server with a different account.  So how did it pick this user account.  Was is based on the user submitting the ticket?  Should the Workflow run under a different user context?  I could post my version of the workflow and see if you can reproduce the same error?

So here is what I found so far.  The permission issue had me a little confused.  Looks like when debugging it runs under the user context that is logged into the server.  I logged in using the same username as what ServiceDesk runs under and it successfully proccessed the ticket.  I will do a complete end to end test of the workflow but I think this is what happened.  Why doesnt the debugger just run under the account that the workflow runs under?

Ok so mostly everything works.  One issue is that im getting an exception at the very end.  I see emails are not being generated/sent.  Is there a particular library I need to include for email to work?  When checking the Complete Notification Component the Email settings->SMTP Server Name refers to [[ProfileProperties]].email_settings_smptserver  But when I go into the setting and check the variable type, ProfileProperties doesnt show (but I do have a ProjectProperties)

I believe the only reason you are not seeing the profile properties is because its no populated in your project, here is what you need to do Go to the Name of the Project in Click on the Application Properties tab, Put a check on Use Application Properties and select your Application Properties if its a ServiceDesk Server and you want to use Service Desk SMTP Server Settings Put check for ServiceDeskSettings and Hit the refresh button. now if you check again in the Send Email component SMTP Server Name you see the Profiles Properties variable. Remember the values for this variable is set from the ProcessManager Console Under Admin>Application Properties. Hope this will resolve last part of your project. If something still cause issue attach the project it would easier to debug.
