hi,

i am seeing wrong url, that is insteat of https://vault.company.com/enterprisevault/xxxxxxxxxxxxx i am seeing http://vault.company.com/enterprisevault/xxxxxxxxxxxx. here it is showing http instead of https hence unable to manually store mail items in to vault using the ev client addon buttons in outlook. have tried reinstalling ev client, used resetevclient utility, no go. it is only with one user. whereas auto archiving happening as per the policy. archive explorer or archive search page is not opening and instead saying the url should use https instead of http and the URL tab has http://----- instead of https://-------. Then only i came to know about the url problem. please help if anybody has solution for this.

check the HTTPS Setting

are your sure your Enterprise [ ;)] Vault Server works with https?
-> see mmc -> Enterprise Vault -> Directory -> Your Site -> Properties -> use HTTPS on SSL Port, selected?

 Is this user in cached

Is this user in cached mode?

If yes, then you can :-

a) Use Outlook Spy and delete the hidden message on the inbox, and do another mailbox synch.

b) Use EVPM and zap the mailbox

c) Delete the users OST file, and allow Outlook to create a whole new one the next time it starts (and you'll then get a new hidden message, with your policy settings in it from the server side version of the settings)
