XML convert to Excel

Created: 29 Oct 2013 | 3 comments

Hey guys it's me again.. Still running on HelpDesk 6.5. frown

I have been asked to export HelpDesk reports to Excel or some other format the end user read. They report I am working with shows the number of incidents created this year.

HelpDesk only exports to XML.

I saved my XML export as an XML Spreadsheet in Excel.. However the data is does not show up. Only the fields.

Does ANYBODY remember a good way to display this data?

Thanks for your help

Kirk

Why so complicated? :)

One of the best features of the NS 6 reporting engine is that you can copy report results to the clipboard and simply paste to excel... it's going nicely into the columns.

Just run a HD report in the NS, click on clipboard icon with the arrow to copy your data to the clipboard and then paste to excel... no prob on reports with 50.000 rows.
