  • 1.  XP Lenovo X61 using -IB switch with Ghost 14

    I have a Lenovo X61 and I found information that says I have to use the -IB witch when I make my Ghost image. My question is, how do I do that using Ghost 14?

    PS The product selection below requires a product and version. Since there is no "Ghost" product, I am using backup exec.

    Ghost 14 is a Norton product, which is based on different technology to the Ghost Solution Suite product. You will find a link to the Norton community at the top of this forum in one of the sticky postings.

    A long time ago I tried imaging an X61 with Norton Ghost 15 but never got it to work, so returned the product for a refund. The Norton product does not appear to understand the boot manager that Lenovo use and therefore fails to create a valid image.  I was successful with Paragon Partition Manager.
