In light of the recent "upgrade" versus "new Install" issue with ServiceDesk, does anyone know or is anyone using ServiceDesk behind an F5 load balancer? Specifically the things that we may now want to do include:

Not the best of titles but here's the idea. If you release a servicepack to an solution, allow it to actually upgrade the software! The current release of ServiceDesk SP2 is not recommended to be used as an update to any pervious version of ServiceDesk. How does that make any sense?

I've started testing patch management and noticed the latest software patches avilable in the Patch Remediation Center were from 9/28/11. I've run the Metedata Import Task for Windows. It said it sucessfully completed. I can see there are the newest versions of firefox listed here (Version 9 and 9.1) if I expand venders and software.

Currently, unless I am missing something, when you run an upgrade process on ServiceDesk from the Maintenance Page of the SD installer you will be forced through until the end of the configuration where you can then simply start the upgrade.

Whenever I activate a layer on startup using SWV SP6.1 SP7 IE doesn't work properly. I can''t go to any webpages unless I open up a new tab. It doesn't error, just sits there doing nothing. If I do open a new tab and download something it doesn't save. I choose the location and it looks like it downloads, then I go through windows explorer and the file isn't there.

An article or document should be created that describes how & where the data is gathered from for the Computer Managment details in the "Flip Book" view in the Activity Center console. This information is easily accessible in this view, but there is no way to extract the data or print it out to pass along if necessary.
