We have a small number of machines that started to blue screen after installing December Microsoft security patches ( Approximately 10). They are all E6410  running xp sp3 and Sep 11.0.6100.645.  They may have other things in common.   It appears to be resolved after uninstalling MS11-098 ( KB 2633171).  Has anyone else had this issue?.

If the MSI has internal CAB files, these also have to be unpacked before installation, and this happens to the TEMP folder also. Files are cleaned up after install, so the self-healing operation that you are experiencing cannot find the files in ...
