OpsCenter will alert when there is a tape pending for a restore, since it's not in the library.  Why can't you get OpsCenter to look at the job that requested it and report on all the tapes to complete the job.  When a restore requests multiple tapes OpsCenter will only alert on the one that is pending and not the group of tapes that are needed.
