pcalver posted an article: Inventory C: Drive Fragmentation and Defrag Using a Custom Inventory and Software Delivery 32 weeks 2 days ago
Need to know if the c: drive on your inventoried systems are fragmented? We do, we also need to defrag them regularly. Here is how I am going to do it. I am piloting this as I type this documentation. I have written a script using Wise Scripting. I have attached a ZIP file containing the WSE file and the compiled EXE file.
pcalver posted an article: Create a Custom Inventory for DSN's (ODBC) 34 weeks 5 days ago
I just recently came up with a need to find all systems with a specific DSN name so I can target those systems with a change to the DSN configuration. By default Altiris Inventory gets the installed ODBC drivers, but not the configured DSN's. I have written a script using Wise Scripting. I have attached a ZIP file containing the WSE file and the compiled EXE file.
