One of my issues has always been adding a new server to a policy mid-week and having to do a full backup there and then otherwise the nightly cumulative or differentail backup will effectively be a full backup anyway. and will continue to be so until a full is done.

This typically means performing a full backup there and then or logging on in the evening to manually start the full (or getting someone else to do same).

Would be nice if we had the ability to schedule the manual backup to start at a particular time.  Maybe a "schedule" button on the "manual backup" screen.

Of course, it assumes you know what you are doing and you schedule the full to start just before the normal differentail or cumulative time.

You could perhaps create your

You could perhaps create your policy and leave it de-activated until you're ready to perform the backups.

I already have a policy

Sean,

My point was that I already have a policy with other clients in it.  I'd like to add a new client mid-week and schedule a full backup for just that client that evening.  All other clients in the policy should continue to run their normal backup schedule (e.g. differential or cumulative).
