Our upcoming releases of SMS Exchange and Domino are making good progress:
SMS for Exchange to support MS Exchange 2010 by 2/15/2010
The upcoming release of SMS for Exchange will integrate with MS Exchange 2010. This is on target for 2/15/10 STM, the date it's available to current customers. SKU's get released on 3/1/10 (GA).
Beta starts at the end of Nov. Signups will begin starting mid-October and will be announced here.
In addition, to Exchange 2010 support, this next release will also provide a number of performance and resource improvements (reduced disk I/O and memory / cpu) for both AV and AS. Support for Windows and Exchange 2000 will be dropped. This release will be called SMS Exchange 6.5.
Mail Security for Domino 8.0 to Support 64 bit Windows/AIX in March 2010
The next release of SMS DOM will provide native 64 bit support to Lotus Domino 8.5.0 and the upcoming 8.5.1 (Oct '09) on Windows and AIX. It will allow for cross platform replication / management across AIX 5.3/6.1 and Windows 2003/2008 for 32 and 64 bit.
Functionality is expected to be identical to the current SMS DOM 8.0 version. Customers can get a head start to their migration by setting up SMS DOM 8.0 in their test environment with the exact policies they want in place. They will be able to upgrade that environment to 8.0.5 and replicate those settings to their production servers.
Customers looking to rollout Lotus Domino 8.5.0 might want to wait a month for 8.5.1. 8.5.1 delivers a good number of fixes and new features.
