BESR reporting and email notifications

You can configure an SMTP message.  But you receive event log messages which are cryptic for the casual user.

Why can't you receive something as simple as a job log, or an email about "Successful," or "failure," or "successful with exceptions?" 

As for reporting, there isn't any.  How about something as simple as all jobs and their status in the last 7,15, 30 days?  A pretty report, perhaps a chart of success/fail rates, and size of backups.
There is nothing native in BESR with that.  

Perhaps the optional management console, but for single server installations, or desktop installations, this would be an expensive option.  Being able to print a single report with the most basic yet important information seems like a rudimentry standard feature for a backup application.
