NetBackup man pages and also the usage text are extremely helpful to those using CLI or script building. However, sometimes the man page is too much information filling up the text window and sometimes the usage text is insufficient to complete the syntex of the command. Perhaps there could be something made available for a compromise between the two.
Here is a for instance.
The bplist command requires a policy type number to be included in the syntax. The usage shows the requirement for including a policy type but you have to go to the bplist man page to find the "number" for the policy type. Perhaps an "expanded" usage would be a time saving compromise for the netbackup administrators. It would show the policy type assignments for the numbers that the syntax is expecting to be in the CLI.
