Bring back Copy to Clipboard button in the SMP7 Interface

Notification Server 6 had a button in many of its interfaces that copied the current grid (reports and collections mainly) to the clipboard. As the clipboard was used this would often traverse terminal services sessions. This information could then easily be pasted directly into a spreadsheet and manipluated on the fly. With a couple of vlookups and filters this was an extremely quick way of providing adhoc reporting.
SMP7 has dropped this button and the new option to save as a csv, xml or http is a poor alternative.

I haven't worked with the NS7 console too much yet, and hadn't missed this yet, but learning it isn't there is a big issue for me. I don't know how often I use that Copy to Clipboard button (even though many times it has some trouble and you have to try it a few times). Definitely a must-have!
Thanks,
Kyle

Yes, it's a very frustrating process to export data. Seems that you can only do it from a Report, for that you will need to select Save and choose the format to save in.
Even more frustating when you wish to export the results of a filter, that can't be done. So far I've not found how to create a report that uses an existing filter.
Inside info anyone?
Just one more reason not to upgrade to v7.
This is VERY frustrating especially because you can't copy and paste results from a Filter. This thread has been open since February and we haven't gotten any type of status update on when this is planned for inclusion into the product? If you allow us the option to give you feedback on the product, it would be nice that this information is actually processed and the thread is updated with status.
...but i'll try!

In the process of migration and hate, hate, hate that this is no longer in the product. I used it all the time for adhoc reporting. Please, please put this feature back!
This just seems like its one of the fundamentals of what 6 could do. Not having this in 7 seems like a major oversight.
....and one of the first things I noticed was missing. Please, please, please bring it back. Us folks in the trenches will always need the kind of flexibility this gives us.
A status update once in a while would be more helpful. We need feedback to our feedback.
In our User Group meeting this morning I asked Hugo Parra about this; he indicated that this was a limitation of Silverlight prior to version 5.x, but now that Silverlight 5 is out this can be addressed and implemented.
Thanks,
Kyle

So when 7.5 is finally released, we may be able to copy and paste. I almost forgot how simple life was.
