Can we have a built-in query wizard/shell to search for a group of SEP clients that share a common status/problem/risk and run a command on them?

Hey,
From my experience with Symantec products, I found out that built-in reporting/logs tools are a bit limited. So, to get what you want, you have to use a third party SQL client and connect to the database (ex. SSIM DB2) and create a customized query to generate a report. That's great, but what if I want to issue a command to those clients.

What I'd like to have in a future release is the ability to issue more commands than the default ones (ex. Scan / restart / add exception / ...etc) when you are querying for logs inside SEPM:

1) Move clients

2) Issue a specific command with a higher priority than the ones which are being processed.

- Another feature, is to have a command shell to run commands faster than SEPM's GUI, plus having a scripting language to automate and schedule commands to run after work hours or during holydays.

YES! Reporting needs to be much improved!

The current state of reporting in SEPM is awful.  Lots of graphs, little data. No drill down options in reports.  No custom reporting.  Documentation of the database schema is minimal.  Some of the things I would like to see are:
* more detailed reports.  Anything that currently shows the graph should have the option to show the underlying data
* a published database ER diagram so we know the relationships between tables, cardinality of the relationships, etc.

Use Monitors->Logs for day to

Use Monitors->Logs for day to day operations, not reports.  The reporting tab is only good for PHBs.

The feature requested already exists there in one fashion.  You can customize the query filter over the logs and the select all-> update content,scan,shutdown, enable firewall,etc

@rwessen I already use

@rwessen

I already use Monitors>Logs for all what I've said, but I wish if there are additional commands and if I can re-prioritize commands once needed
