Centralized Renewal Management

Since you have Salesforce.com for us to perform opportunity registrations, couldn't you assign our renewal opportunities to us as well? It would be great to have a single web portal where we can enter our forecasts and track our registrations & renewals.

Just bumping this post up to the top again... I may have posted it over a year ago, but my opinion hasn't changed. As an inside salesperson who manages the renewals of over 600 customer accounts, I've learned that the vendors that provide online renewal systems such as Cisco and Citrix, have a higher customer retention rate than those that don't.
Even VMware, who I've historically had issues with, is working with an online renewal and forecasting tool. Since I got access, I've uncovered nearly a dozen missed opportunities.
The RNW lookup tool is great, but what I really want is a pre-populated dashboard view of my accounts!

Recently I saw that portal from VMware to manage renewals opportunities. I think too it's important to us to have a way to track all contracts. Particularly we use a CRM platform that facilitates this tasks, but sometimes even this tool is not enough.
I think this is a great idea, and Symantec Partner Program's team must have on scope for next fiscal year.
