With Altiris7 we are stuck to use Internet Explorer 7.
I'd really like to see FULL browser support for any of the major browsers on any common platform.

This should function under Windows, but I'd also like to have full console functionality when using a Linux or MAC platform to access it.

I agree. I was surprised

I agree. I was surprised to hear that IE was going to be the only supported browser. With the number of people switching to Macs in companies.

One of things I was under the impression in the 7 world was it was going to be less browser specific. BUt IE7 only is more specific.  Good news is that SErvice Desk runs great on OPera, Chrome, and Firefox as well as IE

Not a huge priority

There are bigger fish to fry...if the only accomodation is having to have IE7, then I'm good.

Unbelievable

We need cross browser support for different reasons. We have more then 20,000 Clients within multiple divisions with different security policies. Some divisions do not have IE installed on the Clients. Some divisions prohibit the use of IE if there is an announcement that there is a security leak in IE and other divisions only have Linux clients.

It's unbelievable that Altiris supports different plattforms such as Linux but you only can access the console by IE.
