Directory Authentication for SEPM Console
Created: 17 Nov 2009
1. Ability to levergae a standard LDAP directory other than Active Directory, such as the SunOne directory.
2. A generic user account and password should not be required to perform a simple anonymous bind. If anonymous can not be used then the credentials being entered at the time the console is being accessed should be used to bind and validate authentication.
3. Provide the option to change the attribute used to locate a user object in the LDAP directory. Example: Instead of CN have the ability to change it to UID or something else if needed.
CN
UID
=User,OU=People,DC=ups.com=User,OU=People,DC=ups.com
