Enterprise Vault Discovery Accelerator performance

We have been using DA since EV 2007.  The performance of the DA web site was adequate in DA 2007.  The DA 8.0 version changed to a desktop application.  This means that more data has to flow between client and server as the server has to do the filtering.  When running this over a WAN link the application performance is very poor. 

An example of this poor performance is when looking at running searches.  The bottom half of the screen shows the archives that are being searched.  As we have a large environment of journaling and archiving there is a very large list of archives.  It takes a very long time to send this large list from the server to the client.  Please refer to case 320-217-127.

I propose either:

• Re-introduce the web version of the DA client.
• Optimize the client-server DA performance.
