Enterprise Vault Sharepoint Module, Archive by date

Currently the EV Sharepoint Module archives the entire collection or site when run.   You can only select which file types to archive and when you run the job it archives the entire site for all files of that type.  There needs to be a way to archive all the files on a site based on a date.  I can't think of any reason why, other than you're about to take down the site, to archive the entire site of it's contents.
