Altiris/Symantec Installation Manager environment summary report...

When posting to the fora and even Symantec technical support; it would be realy useful if you could run a little report (either in SIM or Altiris itself) that was able to give an environment summary in a standard format. This would detail hardware, OS and solution information in a standard format, thereby making it easier for everybody involved to see at a glance all the basic information they would need before diving in any further. I know Enterprise Vault has a tool that can do something along these lines. Please forgive me if there is already something that can do this... then let me know what, where and how...

Good idea, but not enough, request for more !
Hi we got similar report from SEP addon tools & probably easy for Symantec to reuse it.
We were having NSdiag tool for Altiris 6, (in the past)
But no longer to be used - https://kb.altiris.com/article.asp?article=43992&p=1
We would like also a report including all the base & advanced solutions based settings in 1 operation.
Currently, if you want to create a documentation to explain how is configured the Notification Server (Symantec Management Platform SMP or NS):
you must Screenshot during more an hour... And never sure not to miss some settings hidden in the 3rd tab of a sub-setting...
And for sure, you miss the hidden registry based advanced configuration settings...
Well: We would like an automatic html based report, providing all the configurations of the installation of a server,
and more: be able to compare from a pre-registred configuration, and display all the change or differences !!!
And be sure we need this !
That will be a PRO concept for a "Change Management" tool that is Altiris, to be able to manage & integrate its own "change management & quality" tool, isnt'it ?
