I would like have multiple options for the Enabled for archiving welcome message.  I envision an option for the provisioning group to offer a text box to give the name of the unique MSG file (or none at all) instead of ALL users having to get the same message.

you can do this already

you can do this already though not through the group, go to the EnterpriseVault.dbo.ExchangePolicyTargetGroup and edit the ExcEnableMailboxMsgFileName column

In EV8 SP4?

I don't see the ExcEnableMailboxMsgFileName column in the ExchangePolicyTargetGroup table within EnterpriseVaultDirectory.   Maybe it's in earlier versions of EV only?

BTW I am no longer lesbian! I have failed....

Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just out of interest what is your specific use case(s) for needing this functionality?

The use case I have seen

The use case I have seen recently is that a company was deploying a couple Mailbox Policies and a couple Desktop policies.   One set of users were going to have Vault Cache and Virtual Vault and have a different archive policy.

They wanted to be able to send two different Welcome Messages that explain the funtionality they would see but based on the policy assigned to avoid confusion with the end users.
