Excluding all files from a layer (e.g. for packers like WinZip)

Hi,

What about using the "*" sign in the exclusion list for application layers to not allow _ANY_ created file to be saved within that layer?

What about software solutions like WinZip. If I extract an archive with it (WinZip runs virtualized), anything that gets extract is moved inside the layer.

It would be more than a hassle to exclude every existing file ending (either manually or through ExcludeGen) to avoid that behavior.

Or is there any easier solution to avoid this behavior?

Regarding folder exclusions

Excluding folders is imho not the real solution to such a problem because while deploying such a vsa file it is not guaranteed that the same partitions / and / or folders exist on all target machines or are correctly used by the users...

There should be an easier and more comfortable global way do avoid file redirection into layers without using network shares or any other "workarounds" :)
