The user interface for the firewall is inconsistent between the server and client, making it confusing on the client.  This makes it difficult to support users in either client or mixed mode.  The interface used on the server should also be used on the client.  Maybe the client interface makes sense for a consumer product, but not an enterprise product.

In mixed mode, the interface should show the server rules. To create effective rules, the client needs to be aware of the other rules and what they are doing to know the context they are working in.  There should be two blue lines - and the user can create rules between them.  This would make it clear that the rules above are those that they can't change and will always be evaluated before their rules, and the rules below are ones they can't change but can override by creating a conflicting rule that is evaluated first.

This is something we would

This is something we would like to see also.  Our team manages the A/V products but another team manages the servers from an OS perspective.  We want all firewall rules (server, client, automatic) that have been applied to a server visible from the GUI.  They would be extremely handy in troubleshooting server issues.
