It would be great if we could say to exclude the folder EXCLUDE no matter where he is located
that way whenever we create a folder exclude we would know that this folder would not get archived with enterprise vault file system archiving

You can do this with wild cards already

\\*\*\$\EXCLUDE\*.*   /Exclude /Subdir

any server
any share
any level on the share
exclude the contents of the folder named EXCLUDE and all subfolders

(I think that's the syntax.  it's been a while since I messed with it much)

Sorry, that syntax works with BackupExec,  don't use EV so don't know if it translates

it verify the existence of the folder and the path therefore we cannot exclude a folder like this.
