I don;t see a forum for Symantec Endpoint Encryption so users have to post their questions on Symantec Endpoint Protection forum both these products being diffrent it becomes difficult for both the Symantec customers and Technical experts.
As a SEP user we cannot have expertise on it so we cannot answer it so it Stays there for days without an answer even people who have knowldge on SEE cannot keep looking on this huge Antivirus forum if anybody has issues with SEE.

I agree with you that it is
I agree with you that it is a problem when issues with certain products just sit in the SEP 11 forums because no one has as much expertise with them. I have seen this happen with SEE in particular like you said, but I am not sure that opening a new forum for SEE would be the best option. I just don't think there would be enough people active in that forum to be able to answer questions. Most the people that use that product are also active in the SEP 11 forums. Since they are not getting it answered in the SEP 11 forums I don't think it would get answered in an SEE forum either. What would end up happening is that they would post their problem in the SEE forums and it would go unanswered. Then a week later they would be tired of waiting and just post it in the SEP 11 forums and on top of that me mad because no one was able to answer it in the SEE forums. I agree it is hard to answer these questions in the SEP forums but I don't see a better solution. Just my opinion.

Endpoint Encryption
This is a very diffrent product and people who give suport to them are either from SEE support queue, Paul or mostly somebody from Symantec.
Its not like other forums do not get attention. There is a forum for almost every product and its not like they go un-noticed.People who have expertise on a product go in to that link.
I havent seen any un-answered discussion in the other forums ( especially after the reward program :-\ )
Check for ESM ,CSP, NAC or CCS,BE be it any forum they have their own discussions and experts helping them ( mostly from support )
When there can be a diffrent forum for SEP and SEP SBE then why not SEE I dont see a problem with that.

Yes I see your point. Your
Yes I see your point. Your last line states, "When there can be a diffrent forum for SEP and SEP SBE then why not SEE I dont see a problem with that." This is exactly the issue I am referring to though. If you look at the SEP SBE forums you will see that quite a few of the posts have gone unanswered. Granted it is a new product and it will take some time for people (including myself) to gain expertise with it. However these posts in the SEP SBE forums that have gone unanswered have found their way over to the SEP forums already. This is exactly the same problem I think would happen with SEE. A good example of this happened in this post:

This poor guys post went unanswered for almost 3 weeks before he gave up and posted in the SEP 11 forums. I am not saying that it is guaranteed to happen with SEE, I just want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get their questions answered. I just don't think we should open new forums until there is enough demand for it. Again just my opinion.

Thats not the case
According to your opinion there should have been only one forum for all Symantec Products( Security ).If that would have been the case then there should have been only one forum for all products...which is not the case every product should have its own corner..
About question being unanswered there are so many un-answered post for SEP in SEP forum as well so that shouldn't make a diffrence.
At this time there is no point discussing about SEP SBE as you said its new and somewhat similar to SEP.
but i dont think SEP Endpoint Encrption is similar to SEP.

I agree this - but it is not creating a "Forum"
It is just for creating "Product Tag", all the same not all detail products, and from time to time, a family of products should be (if not enough posts, it makes sense). But in this case, putting SEE question into a tag SEP, is just stupid. I suggest a TAG like "Other security products" or "Endpoint Security family". It is just to avoid TAG overload, but also to avoid unsignificant TAG ;-)
Just contact the Communty Security Manager for that: www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/community-managers-contact-information

Submit an Idea
Guys,
Someone submit an "Idea" and set the product to "Symantec Connect". You could also PM the community manager for that area with this feedback.

VMWARE-- SEP 12.1 vs McAfee vs Trend Micro
Now Available.
By popular demand, we have added forums for Endpoint Encryption as well as Mail Security for Exchange/Domino.
It will be nice if you can
It will be nice if you can add breadcrumbs too. not so easy to navigate
I agree. Doesn't Symantec
I agree. Doesn't Symantec know how to make a forum? Every page in the forums should have a hierarchy where you can go to the top level of the forum. I can't even find the SEE forum. I have been searching for 10 minutes. Oh I should go try Google since Symantec search can't even find it /eyeroll
Not sure why it was hard?
All you have to do is go to the Security community, then Forums, then "Endpoint Encryption". Here's a link in case you're still having trouble.
