There are a lot of acronyms used in the forums.  These are probably familiar to the reader if they are using the features, but would be totally baffling to someone who is new or not familiar with the product/feature.  Perhaps someone should develop and maintain a glossary for easy reference.

That glossary is not

That glossary is not comprehensive.  I am still trying to figure out what GUP is in relation to Symantec Endpoint Protection or SEP.  In the Backup Exec forum, acronymns like RAWS, RALUS, CASO are bandied about.

The search function works

but only if if you're  willing to trawl through '00's of T/Ns & BUG refs. :-s

Think a glossary could well prove useful though.

For completeness:

RAWS = Remote Agent for Windows Servers
RALUS = Remote Agent for Linux or UNIX Servers
CASO = Central Admin Server Option

PKH, that's true this glossary is not comprehensive, but was only an example about other glossaries already avalable on Symantec. Btw, a collaborative glossary could be done by a Wiki (it was on the Juice) , also using some contributions in this post..
