First sorry for my bad english I hope you understand my idea anyhow.

It would be great if you could add images of a City overview, Building, Floor & room, for an example if you looking for how many computer there is in
Building B, Floor 2, Room 207  or something like that you could click on the image icon to drill down to computer level.

Here you see a overview of a company building and if you click on building B you see next image here below.

Here you see a overview of the building B, floor 2 If you have localize the computer to example room 207 there should be a icon that that you can click on and see the image here below..

If you click on room 207 the you can see all computers assigned to the room here below.

And here can you click on "workstation 78" and see resource manager to the computer.

 Similar functionality you

Similar functionality you get through the Resource Association Diagram, if you have CMDB Solution installed, but it won't have your custom map in there, instead it displays a logical grouping by Department, Location, Cost Center, Company and further custom associations, if needed.
Anyway it would be a nice enhancement, if it would be possible to add custom maps as a sort of "layer" and allow the enabling/disabling of layers in the Resource Association diagram.

Yes, please!

The software that our network team uses for their monitoring does this, and it's one of those things that makes Altiris look deficient when non-technical folk see it.  If this feature existed I could see some people in our department using the SMC even more than I do.

Connect to google maps

In addition add compatibility to google maps. You could click on a location around a city or globe and then zoom into more detail for that specific location.
