IPv6 is comming to all of us...regardless of our liking it or not.  We will require a software firewall that has IPv6 support beyond just blocking all IPv6 connections.  IPv6 is used by default for some Windows 7 features, like the Homegroup.  Eventually, students and faculty at our institution will demand access to IPv6, but we can't leave them unprotected with a firewall that doesn't understand IPv6.

I'm keen to understand more of IPv6 deployment in each environment, such as all infrastructure would be udpated to IPv6 and etc.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree. It will be interesting to see if others do as well.

This is getting to be a deal-breaker ...

IPv6 support would be available in the next major release of SEP.

What is the next major release? SEP 12.1.4 doesn't have IPv6 support.
