I would like job histories to be presented in a tabular format, rather than hierarchical. E.g.
server1\c$ 4.1GB backed up in 201,431 files 4.0GB verified in 201,430 files Started 11:01pm Finished 11:30pm etc, etc
server1\e$ 45GB backed up in 201,431 files 45GB verified in 201,430 files Started 11:30pm Finished 01:30am etc, etc
server2\c$ 5.1GB backed up in 201,431 files 5.0GB verified in 201,430 files Started 01:30am Finished 01:57ametc, etc
server2\e$ 4.1GB backed up in 201,431 files 4.0GB verified in 201,430 files Started 01:57am Finished 02:30am etc, etc
Total 58.3GB etc, etc, etc.
The current histories need to be expanded and expanded and expanded to find out what happened, until you can't see where you are on the page anymore. Tabular format lets you easily see what has happened. It could still contain hyperlinks to look at errors, etc.
This is the report I'd like emailed to me on completion of the backup job, the current reports are unreadable.
I would also like to be able to compare one history with any other, in order to see how each resource is growing or shrinking.
