With backupexec we definitely are enhancing the support towards includig various linux flavoured OS but still with backupexec we support EXT3 as filesystem & not EXt4 which is more good in performance & lot of other enhancement too .

Backupexec linux agent should start supporting this file system as many of the user do use EXt4 due to its greater advantages than Ext3
