New feature request: Multilanguage Outlook add-in for EV
With Windows, IE and Office, you can install language packs that allows you to change the display language of all their messages, menus, etc by selecting the language you want from the Control Panel "Region and Language" (Win7) or "Regional and Language Options" (WinXP) function.
This isn't possible with the Outlook add-in for EV, as only one language version of the add-in can be installed. It would be really great if there would be only one add-in that includes all languages so that it is automatically displayed in the same language as the one selected for Outlook.
This would be really useful for people standarizing computer images with several language packs, since this allows users to select the display language they want on their computer. Unfortunately, the EV add-in cannot be included in those images because it wouldn't be the proper language for all users. The actual single language format of the add-in also prevents a quick an easy automation of the EV deployment process when you have several languages to support for your users.

Agree with that idea! many of our international customers are asking for that feature!
The client in 10.0.2 will be multi-language - no separate installs for each language.
Display & help language selected based on the Office language preferences. Fall back to system language if EV does not support the required language. Final fall back to English if system language not supported.
Oh excellent news! do we know when will approximately be released 10.0.2?
Sorry don't know if there is an externally committed date for 10.0.2. Likely to be in the next few months, but that is not a commitment.

From what I heard from a Symantec employee, EV 10 SP2 is planned to be released in September!
10 SP2 available now, and should provide that functionality
