You know what would be cool for people that just want a fast answer? Is to have a Instant Messenger like AOL or Skype on Symantec's website.  I know there are Blogs and Forums to give a Question for someone to answer but some times it never comes through or takes a long because there are a lot posts. Basically Symantic would have an IT Developer happy to answer peoples Question's on a chat room.... so if Symantec can add a new tab called chat that would be totally awesome!!!!!!!!

I think symantec alredy has a

I think symantec alredy has a chat support. It won't be fun if chat support will be added to connect as same questions will be asked over and over..
however for these questions you can search on the forum and you'll get it..

Whare is the Symantec chat support ???

@Vikram Kumar & Shp Both

If you know that where is the Symantec Chat Support ( Link / Site ) & how Symantec Customers can use it, it's better to say to others who need this & if  you Don't know & just hear from somebody else, it's better to find right answer & publish it.

Many thanks - J. Nourbakhsh

I m not sure about current

I m not sure about current chat support......

I dint like the idea of adding a chat in connect. Mainly because guest user
will not have any information about the transactions which has taken place in
the chat room... User may get solution but its not documented for
others.....

Presently when a customer contact technical support, they have a option of
remote support using webex(he can chat using that).

If Symantec creates a chat application than few people have to be deputed to
chat support with the existing technical support.. Every technical query coming
to Symantec has to be registered. I think it will be difficult when chat is the
picture.....

I m not demoting the idea but forum chat is better than a online chat... We are
not only towards problem solving.. We share the solution with everyone....

There is Norton Chat support

There is Norton Chat support for Home user

http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/contact/contact.jsp?pvid=cs

There is no chat support  for Enterprise Customers.

@shp ..The chat that  you are referring to is a prat of webex that is taken for remote control / remote session of the customer's environment , you can't relate or link that chat , to chat Support. These are 2 diffrent entities.
