Why on earth has Symantec removed the ability for users to personalise notifications messages.

Invaluable under 8.5, invisible under 12.5??

I am using 2010 R2 and would like to see the ability to modify Alert emails.   I would like to be able to modify the basic format of the email so that a service ticket can be generated by our system automatically upon failure.   The modifications would be static, it just needs specific tags for the ticketing system to accept it.
