Notification toolbar does not appear unless message was replied to or forwarded PRIOR to being archived.

When double-clicking a shortcut in Outlook, the notification toolbar does not appear. (Figure 1)

It only appears when the message was replied to or forwarded PRIOR to being archived.
This is intended behavior as the shortcut will not be updated when using the Reply or Forward options.
As per the kb article this was taken from I and my client believe it would be a good idea if this was NOT the case and that forwarded and replied to emails had the notification bar appear even if the email was replied to or forwarded after the mail was archived.

This is an example of "the little things" that cause a user to start disliking a solution. The user experience should remain as unchanged as possible.
