Notifications get replicated between SEPM Servers, causing multiple Emails from all Servers
Created: 03 Nov 2010 | 1 comment
If one Notification is setup on one Server it gets replicated to all others, sending an email from each for the same notification.
As a Workaround one can only use one Notification Server responsible for all Notifications, meaning only one Server can have the mail server details.
This on the other hand causes delays, as the Replication Schedule will delay the response times.
Symantec sees this as "working as designed", and does not accept a product fix for this.
Please vote for a change in the behavior to choose if you wish to replicate the notifications or not.
Thanks,
Thomas

you can set email server only
you can set email server only on one SEPM server - then only 1 server can send messages
