Opportunity to enable or create an automation policy “SIM Updates Available”

and receive an email notification when an update is available of the installed products.
(Now once in a while it’s necessary to start the SIM and see if there are updates available or subscribe to a product on kb.altiris.com)

Having multiple ways to inform administrators
of available updates is always a positive aspect. The only drawback I see here is that SIM might have to be launched, or open to receive such notifications. An automation policy, similar to what existed in NS6 would be useful as well.

Great idea
That is a very usefull idea.
It was perfect in the NS 6.0 console. That way customers could see that there were updates available.

Yes, please. We just installed at the beginning of the year and didn't pay attention to it for a while. We got behind in our updates. An email reminder would be nice.
