Product Enhancement Request: ability to control scan visibility separately

Visibility of Active Scan and Full Sscan is not all controlled via one master setting.

We would like to be able to control this separately peer scan or per scan type. We like the Active Scan to be invisible to the user, but we need the Full Scan to be paused by the user. The reason is that  the scan may cause interference during for example presentations or performance issues on machines with lower "power" or an other technical handicap like for example a slow hard drive.
