Rather than making a thread in the forum for more information for a particular subject, I think it would be a good idea to have a way to request an article or a blog on a particular subject.  Say, Stuart Green is exceptional at configuraing/using SLP's, and I would like to know more about SLP's - from an end user's perspective, and not just from the sanitized verbiage from the admin guides.  It would be nice to have a way to post a request, then Stuart could see that and then create an article/blog regarding SLP's.

Great Idea. My suggestion

Great Idea. My suggestion would be that the users post their requests on the forums. Else, the requests can be personally targeted to certain users via the Personal Messaging Module on Connect. Another best way is to direct the requests to the Community Manager, (that's me in case of Bacup and Archiving) who can put together the information in a blog.

Any other thoughts?

Certainly an intriguing idea!

I would imagine requests would be better going through the appropriate Community Manager - probably easier to moderate & control that way.

Hmmm.....we'll see what the future brings!
