Revert back

I wish there was a way that whenever I edited a layer, the changes only occur when the window was closed, and that I could have an option to Revert back if I want to undo any changes that I had made.

WPS
In WPS you can create VSP files which are kind of like WSI in the MSI world. Your files can be distributed so you don't mistakenly delete them and you have the ability to Save or Close your project file.
I still use SVSAdmin mostly so I make sure I export often.

WPS is an expensive way of packaging, and is definitely not intended for home use.
In larger companies it is the way to go for, but at home I prefer SVS admin.
