What about having some sort of Security characters identification systems while creating discussion threads.
There are sites which has this system even while adding comments.
We already have this while submitting files, y don we have this incorporated with Symantec Connect appropriately.

Captcha

Hi Acretian,

Thanks for the suggestion.

A submission system that uses a Captcha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captcha) is useful to keep anonymous computer bots from submitting to your site.

Since users must have a SymAccount /and/ be logged in to submit content to Connect, it's difficult -- if not impossible -- for computer bots to submit nefarious content to the site. Hence, the use of a Captcha-based submission scheme would probably be more annoying to our contributors than useful.

 I would agree to kevin

I would agree to kevin ..Capcha is main so that bots don't take advantage of the system. However if there is some malicious or unwanted activity on the forum ..then Admins,Trusted Advisors, Sym Employees and Sym Technical Support employees..Flag it to the Admins and then it is taken care..infact anybody can mark as offensise to a discussion if he feels so..
