This was comes to my mind during data protection analysis. I think it would be better for SEP if endpoint dataloss prevention features will be included on sep client package. though i know there should be a separate licenses.Policies should be configurable on sep manager console.

thanks,

Not sure

Based on all the DLP implementations I've been involved in, DLP policies and endpoint policies are being handled by different groups internally - and that being said, for the most part, policies related to data loss can be highly sensitive.  The current iteration of control when it comes to policies is not nearly strong enough to ensure who has the ability to view/modify policies related to DLP, and one of the best features of the DLP Suite is a single interface to control policies across the board.

I am onboard with the thought of having DLP functionality built into the SEP client and having a single agent, but policies is difficult.
